Artha Business Solutions LLC ("Artha," "we," "us") is a certified public accounting firm located at 12800 Westridge Blvd, Suite 271, Frisco, TX 75035. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use arthataxes.com and our secure client portal.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly: contact details (name, email, phone) submitted through our website forms; tax and financial documents you upload to the client portal; messages you exchange with our team; and account credentials. We also collect limited technical data (IP address, browser type, device information) needed to keep your account secure.
How we use your information
We use your information solely to provide accounting, tax preparation, and advisory services; to communicate with you about your engagements, deadlines, and invoices; to comply with legal and professional obligations (including IRS regulations); and to protect the security of our systems. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
IRC §7216 — tax return information
Federal law (Internal Revenue Code §7216) restricts our use and disclosure of your tax return information. We will not use or disclose your tax return information for any purpose other than preparing your return without your explicit, written (e-signed) consent.
Cookies
We use essential cookies only — to keep you signed in securely to the client portal. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
How we protect your data
Documents and communications are encrypted in transit. Portal access requires multi-factor authentication. Access within our firm is limited to team members assigned to your engagement, and all access to your records is logged.
Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, request corrections, or request deletion (subject to legal record-retention requirements applicable to CPA firms). Portal clients can export or request deletion of their data directly from the Account tab of the client portal, or by emailing us.
Data retention
We retain client records for the period required by IRS regulations and Texas State Board of Public Accountancy rules, after which they are securely destroyed.
